Default ASTRO: "The Obsessed" of Stellafane 2007

The picture shows part of the Stellafane main observing field with three
Obsession Dobs. The one on the right is a 25-inch. There were at least four
other Obsession Dobs at Stellafane, including an 18 and a 25 with GoTo
drives.

For a few years a guy brought one of the four Obsession 36's, but alas, he
stopped coming. It was a truly impressive telescope. The owner said that
owning a 36-inch scope was like "making a life-time commitment" such as
getting married, or joining a monastery.

George N

PS: Nothing here is intended to say I think Obsessions are better than
Starmasters, etc.
