Default Stellar-Mass Dark Matter

[[Mod. note -- Alas, many of the presentations it links to are
powerpoint files, which on unix machines are viewable only with
considerable pain.

Per a note here (I haven't tried it, I've never figured out how to make
my Linux boot from my external hard drive, still running WinXP; grrr):

http://mail.python.org/pipermail/pyt...ry/086392.html

Open Office is somehow able to open, and even (modify and?) save
powerpoint, if your "Unix" is Linux, at least.

[[Mod. note -- Yes, that's the "pain" part I mentioned: this is
*serious* bloatware, with an icky microsoft-emulating gui to boot.
And for C programmers, see
http://www.openbsd.org/papers/ven05-.../mgp00006.html
for a sample of some of the hideous bugs which lurk there.

FWIW

xanthian.
