Statement by the U.S. President on CAIB report (Forwarded)
"Andrew Yee" wrote in message ... Office of the Press Secretary The White House Washington, D.C. snip The next steps for NASA under Sean O'Keefe's leadership must be determined after a thorough review of the entire report, including its recommendations. Yah. Review the review so as to ensure that the 'conclusions' of the review board are taken as somewhat less than conclusions of a 'real' review. This is the first step in ignoring the review and substituting the political agenda. Our journey into space will go on. Ha! More liikely the NASA budget will be stripped again, due to the lower number of shuttles and missions, sort of 'punishment' for the embarrassment. The work of the crew of the Columbia and the heroic explorers who traveled before them will continue. Like the U.S. returned to the Moon, right? Nice rhetoric. Total meaning? Zero. |
