Why not service the Hubble telescope with OSP?

OSP is supposed to be flying in 2008/9. So, why couldn't a dedicated
OSP launch to Hubble to perform Servicing Mission 5? It would seem to
be much cheaper to launch an OSP than a Shuttle.

It remains to be seen whether the OSP will fly in 2008/9. Indeed it

Then add in the cost of the launch carrying the spare parts and probably
a third launch for some sort of frame. You've now added the complexity
of getting all three launches rendevoused and docked before you think
about rendevousing with the HST. Next you've got 5 or 6 people living in
the OSP for a week or 10 days.

The OSP, whichever design is chosen, is small.

OSP is not designed to handle that kind of mission. It doesn't even have an
airlock, let alone any way to stabilize HST while astros work on it.

OSP needs to be renamed Orbital Space Taxi, because that defines what it's
designed for.

Compare the (currently) proposed capabilites of the OSP with the
proven capability of the Shuttle.
