World Series "miracle" dismissed as a figment of Ed Conrad's imagination
KANSAS CITY (Rueters)--
The International Atheist Society, in a strongly-worded statement, has wholeheartedly dismissed any claim that God had anything to do with the Royals' victory in Game Two of the World Series. "Actually, in baseball, God -- IF there was one -- wouldn't know His ass from third base," the statement began. The society further stated that the Creator had absolutely nothing to do with the torrent of runs that the Royals scored in the sixth inning to put the game on ice. It also has dismissed Stephen Hawking's account that his singing of "God Bless America" before the start of the game had triggered the minor miracle. "Diddly-dick," a spokesman said. Hawking, as every schoolboy knows, vehemently used to deny God's existence but now is one of his strongest backers and can be seen on his knees at least two or three times a day. =========== GOOD GAWD! http://www.edconrad.org GOD BLESS AMERICA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eq2h-J63moo |
