Oddball question ... what happened to "Alpha"?
/lurk
Just curious ... I've noticed that during the Expedition X increment, the ISS is referred to as simply "Station" in any communication between it and the ground. (I'm lucky to have a full-view satellite dish at work, and when we're not downlinking medical education programs, it stays parked on NASA TV. So, I get the commentary hour at 11a during the week.) During the previous expedition increments, it was referred to as "Space Station Alpha." Is that term out of favor now? lurk |
