So you want a thought experiment?
What if you view the universe we live in as some giant simulation. The pixel definition and the rate of update are fixed, so this would mean that quantum uncertainty has to be the limit of resolution, and the speed of light the maximum clock speed, ie the rate that any change between adjacent pixels can occur. the elusion of infinite mass s just the way it looks to us.
