ASTRO: Quick and Dirty Thor
This is just a quick test shot from a PL3200 camera I am testing. it is 3 x
20minutes binned 2x2 through a Baader Halpha filter the camera arrived yesterday and I had to scramble to get flats and darks and am not fully there but I did get an image for the effort :-) |

That explains the close up view. Small pixels! That the microlens version of the chip? What was the reason for choosing that particular one? Everything I have still works, same setup from an optics/filter/filterwheel perspective as before That explains the close up view. Small pixels! That the microlens version of the chip? yes, same as the CM10, nothing different but the camera holding the sensor What was the reason for choosing that particular one? compatibility, better cooling, more robust design, more modern etc. Rick -- Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com.
