If the Sun was compressed down to the size of the Earth how fast would
its rotational speed be? Bert

When the sun becomes a white dwarf will this make its magnetic field
stronger since it is spinning so much faster. Bert

David it is nice to know we have an equation to figure that out. When a
gas planet,or star gets smaller its like an ice skater bringing in their
arms(conservation or angular motion) I used the shrinking of the sun to
the size of the Earth, because I had a gut feeling its speed would be
very close to Jupiter's spin speed and it is. It is no wonder why
pulsars(neutron stars) spin so fast, and using this equation blackholes
can spin possibly 3 times faster that neutron stars. Bert
