If it's a fake, what is it a fake of?

Pic taken at the Balladonia Roadhouse, 16 October.

Certainly looks fake. The font looks all wrong, charring looks wrong and
the antenna looks so fake it's not funny.

The "Danger Airlock" lettering on what looks like a piece of the outer skin
of the workshop module gives it away as a fake (the hatch was actually a
Gemini door and it's not on the workshop module). Plus all those shiny
vents are completely out of place. Fail!

I'm also trying to figure out where exactly on Slylab there were "United
States" markings.
If it's anything real, it looks like part of the Apollo Telescope Mount.

I found another photo of this piece of "debris" BTW:

Having established that that piece is a bad fake, it's important to balance the ledger with a photo of real pieces from
the same museum at Balladonia:

Why display it upside down? Perhaps if they did right side up it would
be even easier to spot it as a fake.

It isn't as bad as Ed Conrad's human skull fossil rocks, but it's a
fake nonetheless.

I figure it's actually Ed's outhouse door.
