Cities are all but shutting down across the US Midwest as the
region shivers in a deadly cold snap known as a polar vortex.

Yup, the silly uneducated people don't realize that global
warming produces local and regional cooling, and increases the
frequency and intensity of extreme events. Most (but not all)
events like this can't be directly tied to global warming,

but there's no doubt that such
events are more frequent and more severe because of it.

There is not enough evidence to support that last "thought."

His lack of doubt has nothing to do with facts, it's based on his
being named Chris (and therefore, being a drooling idiot, like all
people names Chris).

I know a woman named Chris who is very intelligent. She went to business school instead of taking science classes, which further supports the conclusion that she is intelligent or at least had stupendous foresight.

I know a woman named Chris and . . . she's really not.

I gave an example that disproves your assertion (paraphrased) that "ALL persons named Chris are drooling idiots."

It seems that you are the "drooling idiot," although it could be that SAA's "chris" is a drooling idiot too, or maybe he's just a tad over-educated.

Given how stupid you are, you only support my theory.

My name isn't Chris.

The scientists were right about evolution. The scientists were right about
relativity. Science is not to be gainsaid, it is to be heeded and obeyed.

Speaking of evolution, there is this,

https://www.cnn.com/2019/02/01/asia/...ntl/index.html

We are NOT going to see a re-evolution of the pangolin if it goes extinct.

Whereas, if CO2 in the atmosphere does turn out to be as big a problem as some want to claim, we can definitely engineer some solutions and mitigations.

In the meanwhile, chris peterson and nanjinda binda (or whatever he calls himself this morning) need to stop with their wasteful, planet-destroying airplane trips, at least until the issue is sorted out.
