...for an unfamiliar solar feature.
Observed through 0.3Amstrong dual-etalon H-alpha filter.
14.30GMT 27 Oct 2003, UK.

Very bright almost circular disk, with small central dark spot.
Taking the sun's diameter as unit, the disk's diameter is
0.069 and its distance from the centre of the sun is 0.11

Pics (taken with Starlight Express HX516) available.
