Default Accusations of Russian space artifact theft

Sometimes the paper trail on Russian space artifacts is obscure, but I find
it extremely difficult to believe that Max Ary -- with whom i've worked for
many years -- would be either so careless or so greedy to try such a
deliberate trick. Let's see his side of the dispute before making ANY
judgments.

Cosmosphere is legal to own.

What exactly Russian was stolen? I've read both the stories twice now,
and don't find any reference to Russian space artifacts having been
stolen- it's all U.S. material.
