Default The sounds of Titan!

Audio Quicktime file of the the Huygens probes signals to Cassini; four
hours compressed into one minute...the last part sounds like the
whistling of a tea kettle coming to boil: http://uanews.org/media/agcfm.mp3

....Try playing this in Media Player with visualizations. Some really
cool effects can be generated!

On hearing this, I'm reminded of Edgar Winter Group's rendition of
"Frankenstein," ca. 1973.

"Hello Saturn my old friend.
I've come to visit you again."

....Cue Pat to fill in the rest, so long as it ends with "...the sounds
of Titan."

Hmm. Couldn't resist. Not Pat, but I can make an obscene joke about
space monkeys if it'll make you feel better.

Hello Saturn, my old friend
I've come to walk with you again
Because a spacecraft softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Despite the sight of Titan

In restless dreams I walked alone
Past sculpted walls of hydrate stone
By an inlet of a darkened shore
I watched the surging of the ethane roar
When my eyes were stabbed by the blaze of a neon light
That split the night
And stopped the sounds of Titan

And in that alien light I saw
Ten thousand creatures - maybe more
Creatures talking without speaking
Creatures hearing without listening
Creatures looking lost at Huygens hanging there
And not one dared
Disturb the sounds of Titan...
