How many satellites of doom are out there ?
anyone knows how many satellites with doomsday weapons are out there,
sent into orbit by the USA, the Russians, the Chinese or the French ? Maybe there are dozens of satellites with deadly laser beams out there and one malfunction can cause the end of the world ... |

In article ,
says... anyone knows how many satellites with doomsday weapons are out there, sent into orbit by the USA, the Russians, the Chinese or the French ? Maybe there are dozens of satellites with deadly laser beams out there and one malfunction can cause the end of the world ... Another troll (maybe the same person?). Search Google for "Lester Linpord". I did enjoy that episode of X-Files, "Killswitch", with the death-laser from the sky. Sorry, I'm not allowed to discuss this topic. Maybe there are dozens of satellites with deadly laser beams out there and one malfunction can cause the end of the world ... Another troll (maybe the same person?). Search Google for "Lester Linpord". As well as for "bart jannsens." I did enjoy that episode of X-Files, "Killswitch", with the death-laser from the sky. I wonder if the laser satellites are associated with Dr. Evil's Alan Parsons Project. Alternatively, any number of boosters and associated objects might be left in Earth orbit from the construction of his "Death Star." Granted that this was a lunar-based project, but some objects might remain in highly-elliptical orbits with low perigees. The same might be said for Austin Power's Apollo-derived Swinger mission. In fact the recent return of the alleged Apollo 12 S-IVB might really be a cover story for continued covert space operations by Agent Powers. --Bill Thompson |

Whoever wrote that has never had to deal with a real telco before; they are mighty picky about demarcs (not to mention there are more than a dozen T3s in the DC area and I doubt the government has maps of them all - sometimes the telcos don't even know where all their circuits go!). -- Chris Adams Systems and Network Administrator - HiWAAY Internet Services I don't speak for anybody but myself - that's enough trouble. |
