NASA ANNOUNCES NEXT SHUTTLE RETURN-TO-FLIGHT BRIEFING

NASA Space Shuttle Program officials will brief the media
about return-to-flight issues beginning at 2 p.m. EST,
Tuesday, Nov. 18, at NASA's Johnson Space Center, Houston.

The briefing will be broadcast live on NASA Television with
question-and-answer capability for reporters at participating
NASA centers. The briefing will focus on Return-to-Flight
Shuttle processing, testing, training and response to
recommendations of the Columbia Accident Investigation Board.

Bill Parsons, Space Shuttle Program Manager
N. Wayne Hale, Deputy Space Shuttle Program Manager
Col. James Halsell, NASA Return-to-Flight Planning Team Lead

NASA Television is available on AMC-9, transponder 9C, C-Band,
located at 85 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 3880.0
MHz. Polarization is vertical, and audio is monaural at 6.80
