Training of American astronauts for flights on the Russian "Soyuz" is
temporarily stopped

29.03.2005, 12.22 (08:22 GMT) MOSCOW, ITAR-TASS correspondent:

In Zvezdni Gorodok (Starry Town) near Moscow the training of American
astronauts for flights on the Russian "Soyuz" is temporarily stopped. About
this they reported today to a correspondent of ITAR- TASS at the Russian
center of training cosmonauts. "Training of the NASA astronauts in the
mock-up of the" Soyuz "spacecraft, which deliver crews to the ISS, is
temporarily stopped", said a spokesman of the agency. "Training of American
astronauts in the mock-ups of the Russian segment of international space
station continues", he emphasized. (Oberg translation from Russian original
