Does Buddha get wet?
Buddha is sitting on prayer mat. He is wearing a seat belt. In a
buttoned upper left hand pocket, he has a pack on Camels and a Bic lighter. He is sitting in the middle of 20' diameter chunk of plate steel- about 1/4" thick. This disc is attached to a pipe which is 20' diameter and is 400' long with wall thickness of 1/4". At other end of the pipe is 3 spokes which meet in the center of pipe. Attached at this center point is 1/2" steel cable which is 100' long. At the other end of this cable is attached to a solid iron ball which is a meter in diameter. The ball weighs about 4 tons and the rest of structure weighs about 1/4 million lbs. [The steel has a PSI yield str of 40,000 psi (normal pipe steel strenght). 40,000 divided by 240" times 1/4" times 2 equals 83 psi. So walls can hold 80 psi and assume cap can hold 90 psi.} So, the Buddha is sitting in the center of the top of pipelauncher, the pipelauncher is inside some unimaginably huge airplane which flying at 40,000 ft. And this airplane is flying at 300 mph over deep ocean in which there are wind gusts up to 30 mph. Now, at this point in time the airplane drops the Buddha and the pipelauncher out the back of the plane. What happens? Does Buddha get wet? Is possible that after the Buddha leaves the airplane, that the Buddha can lit a Camel cigarette? What kind of things could this enlightened being notice from time he leaves the airplane to the time he finishes smoking his cigarette? |
