The trial is going to be either a deadlock or not guilty because they can't sufficiently prove motive. You need more than means and opportunity in order to get a valid conviction in spite of the "stand your ground" policy.

Unfortunate stuff happens all the time, but indeed the oligarch mafia has a say in who gets a do-over pass, and who gets jail (even if the evidence isn't based upon the whole truth and nothing but the truth), because prosecutors can't be held accountable no matters how badly biased and/or screwed up..

Anytime you sneak a confrontation with a hoody, you'd best have a plan-B, because, some of us hoodies might actually consider our being stalked as a threat, especially if that threat is soon identified as packing heat. By rights Trayvon was merely standing his ground, but obviously lost out when there was that loaded gun and its safety was off for good reason because, there was a clear intent for using it instead of words and showing a physical stance of local authority.

Other than armed with a nonlethal package of skittles, Trayvon only had his physical condition and willingness to utilize it in his defense on behalf of standing his ground. Obviously Trayvon should have also been packing heat.

A grown man fighting a child is not a fair fight,but even if it was shooting the child has to be murder,and no BS to coverup that reality. It would be insanely crazy for Zimmerman to take the stand (unless he has a death wish), especially with 6 mothers as his jury, because mothers tend to know when their kids are telling lies, regardless of what words or interpretations come out of their mouth.

Zimmerman's best bet is to play it dumb and innocent up to the very end. His ZNR/GOP certified lawyers can likely get his butt set free on a mere technicality issue, not to mention some weird interpretation of that "stand your ground" policy which could actually do more damage than good, especially when it's the dead guy that was stalked and sneak confronted and thereby forced into having to stand his ground.
