Redshifting Planck
In "Making sense of astronomy & geology" (2000) the following redshift
formula is derived, doing away with the necessity of an expanding universe and therefore doing away with the big bang hypothesis. r = (cS(2P2c2/(42GR3alpha4))S(E-hf)) / hf In this formula r = distance (presumably in metres; or lightyears) c = velocity of light S = square root P = pi G = gravitation constant R = Rydberg constant alpha = fine structure constant E = energy h = constant of Planck f = frequency All numbers in the formula are exponents, except the first 2 and the first 4. The formula has an arbitrary calibration factor added. Note that when the distance is zero, the formula reverts to the familiar formula of Max Planck for the energy of the photon. |
