Wait times for AP refractors

I hope you ordered an F/6 and not the F/8. Ordering the latter will
probably require a much longer waiting time.

looking at a 10 year wait.
I've been on the list for a 155 for over 4 years now and it looks
like I might possibly have a chance in the second run from now. Each
run takes from 18 months to 2 years. I probably have 4 years to go at
this point in time.
If things proceed as they did on the last run then I will
probably be on the third run from now, which will make the total wait
close to 10 years.
For the last run they called people who were on the list from
January to mid May of 1999. Check out their web site and see for
yourself.

That's right, but one can make a good argument that the AP is not the
best...very damn good but not necessarily the best.
