Default One more T'scope question

Hi,

I have a very small living space and a newly walking baby.
I broke down my T'scope and am storing it in the closet.
This equates to never getting to use it.

Can I store my scope fully assembled in the garage? draped
with a cloth to protect for dust?
I live in Texas and so am concerned about what the heat might
do to it.
It is not an expensive model (a $300.00 Sam's warehouse special)
But I can see well with it and really enjoy it. Unfortunately, the only
one enjoying it now are the clothes in the closet.

Thanks,
jojo

Yes, for God's sake use it. I'm in the UK; my problem is damp, but you
should be OK if you have dust caps etc. Let it cool right down to
ambient temp before you use it.
