Default QUESTION: Telestar by Meade DS-60EC and viewing Mars

First timer here so go easy please!
Brand new at this. Just bought a Telestar DS-60EC
and everything is there and the motor works, etc.
I aimed the scope toward Mars through the view finder
and centered it just fine. Tried 3 different lenses and not
as much as a dot. Lens cap is off I do photography
on the side.
Lenses a SR4mm, H12.5mm and H25mm according
to the stamping on the rubber eyepieces. WHY can't I
at least see Mars? I should at least get a dot, a bright blur
or something.
I must be missing something. Any ideas?
