Default We Lost a Great American

Sally Ride died at 61. Flew on the Challenger. When the Challenger
blow up she went with Feynman reason for the explosion, and voiced her
views on how NASA was covering it up. She was my kind of lady. She
now is riding between the stars. TreBert

No she's not...She's just dead. Same as with your butt buddies, OC and
Bat-Boy. Dead as a doornail. Don't worry, you'll be there soon.

Have a nice day! :-)

She will be missed...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sally_Ride

She accomplished significant "firsts" - She was the first American
woman who went into space. To this day she is still the youngest
American astronaut to go into space. And she was the first known
astronaut who had been in a long-term partner of another
woman. Ride was a very private person, so the fact that she was gay
didn't come out until after her death.

Sally Ride wrote and co-wrote several books designed to interest young
people in space and exploration.

She was definitely the "cat's meow" - one of the most fascinating
people ever to be born!
