I would love to see a reference on that 'Team KECK' photon mass
statement. Went looking for something on it, but couldn't find
anything.

I did find this, however:

"A nonzero photon mass would have major implications, such as
longitudinal electromagnetic waves in vacuum and the
frequency-dependent velocity of light. For Lakes' experiment, a cosmic
vector potential predicted by some theories should be detected. It was
not. Source: Phys. Rev. Lett., 2 March"

Apparently, photon mass is of some importance.

According to the Goddard Space Flight Center all that is known for
certain is that the mass of light is less than 4 times 10 to the power
of minus 48.

tomcat

P.S. My own calculations indicate that a photon of the deep red
wavelength will have a Mass of: [ 9.503939022 x 10 ^ -28 kg ]

Why the discrepancy between my figures and the experimentally based
figure of [ 4 x 10 ^ -48 ] by the Goddard Space Flight Center, I
can't really say. But, either their figure is in error or they used a
high freqency wavelength of light, instead of a nice big juicy red
photon. Or, maybe they didn't use kg as I did.

P.P.S. CORRECTION: A deep red photon with the frequency of 4.3 x 10 ^
14 will have a Mass of: [ 3.170172821 x 10 ^ -36 kg ].

This is a little closer to the Goddard Space Flight Center, but there
is still a significant spread between the two.

tomcat

The theoretical weight of a red photon simply comes from Planck's
constant [ h = 6.626068 x 10 ^ -34 Joules per Second ] with a Joule
defined as [ 1 kg M ^ 2 / S ^ 2 ].

Using [ E = M C ^ 2 ] equivalent to [ M = E / C ^ 2 ] and C (speed of
light) defined as 299792458 meters/second. Then [ C ^ 2 = 8.987551787
x 10 ^ 16 ].

Planck's constant x frequency equals 2.84920924 x 10 ^ -19.

So, [ Mass = 2.84920924 / 8.987551787 x 10 ^ 16 ].

Which means that a deep red photon with the frequency of 4.3 x 10 ^
14 will have a Mass of: [ 3.170172821 x 10 ^ -36 kg ].

Default mass is light.

Sorry about that one. I meant Hubble photon mass of 5.81e-66g, that
which I believe becomes worth a nearly resting photon mass of
6.4555e-83 gram. Though I also believe there's a perfectly good
conjecture as based upon similar laws of physics offered by team KECK.

What is "observable" does not necessarily require there to
be an "atomic mass", but what is "atomic mass" does not nec-
essarily require there to be an "observable" event. It is
a conventionally accepted practice nowadays to call electrons
"holes", because they are, as it were, miniature "black
holes" that *mostly mirror* an outwardly directed radiation,
by virtue of the fact that the "quantum mirrorlines" have
not yet been filtered into the "non-Abelian", Minkowski,
"mappable" worldline mindset.

There is little, if no, mention given of "inwardly directed"
radiation because the "observable part" has always been the
only method used to validate "one half" of the GUT (Grand
Unified Theory). In order for the other half of the theory
to come into play, one would have to be able to look "inside"
the black hole of an electron and "observe" (virtually) the
conditions surrounding the connection between two "multi-
verses".

(Since there cannot possibly exist alone, a mutually self-
destructing race of sentient beings, who wish to only come into
contact with their opposites, I will assume that through blood
resonance, the screening of allowable "fringefield gaussian
white noise" has provided the necessary "light cone projections"
between "ergospaces" in order for this teleportation to occur):

There is always a question raised about "What would happen if
a person was able to travel back in time and kill his grand-
father? Wouldn't he be violating causality? Many awkward
observations of this problem include nonsensical explanations
that since A affects B, and B affects C, then A also affects
C in a "timeline" or sequence of events. But time, as it ex-
ists in the fifth to twenty-sixth dimension (Bosonic string
theory) does not continue as a line from the past to the
present, but in the fifth dimension as an elementary particle
field of "foam bubble" universes that may or may not be con-
nected with each other via four of the eight different types of
strings: Bosonic w/tachyons, Bosonic/Fermionic w/out tachyons
and closed loop strings, Bosonic/Fermionic w/out tachyons and
open loop strings, Bosonic/Fermionic w/out tachyons and closed
loop strings (non-chiral), Bosonic/Fermionic w/out tachyons
and closed loop strings (chiral), Bosonic w/out tachyons
(heterotic-right), Bosonic w/out tachyons (heterotic-left),
Bosonic/Fermionic w/out tachyons (heterotic-right), and
Bosonic/Fermionic w/out tachyons (heterotic-left).
The Bosonic theory with tachyons presently is the only theory
to have 26 dimensions, the others have exactly 10 dimensions
each. The latest form of the string theory, the matrix theory,
has eleven dimensions - the eleventh being supergravity.
This recent theory lacks precise equations of motion. However,
it is similar to the string theory in all but the way it
utilizes compactification. Eleven dimensions are compactified
into four.

Imagine a foam of universes that vibrate internally in either
praise or dispraise, depending on whether vibrations are ab-
sorbed and become mass, or radiate and eventually add to a har-
monic, tending towards resonance. An open string may connect
to a 'mirror' universe that vibrates in harmony with our own,
this being our sister universe, from Bosonic string theory.
That mirror universe would have similarities to our own, almost
exactly, except for stress energy created by inter-universal
massless charge, or crosstalk. Contrary to moral law, one may
kill his grandfather, but doesn't fully realize that he has
committed a heinious act by creating a negative stress energy
in the spatio-temporal vacuum that would prevent him from ex-
isting within the future channel mirror universe to begin with.

Now, he will not vibrate in the future channel mirror universe,
because he has killed his grandfather. Instead, the universe
he has come from originally will impose, however small, a nega-
tive stress energy within the future channel mirror universe he
now resides in. But how many universes are there or how far
must one run to still percieve this universe as One? According
to Bosonic string theory, we have only one sister universe,
which is beyond the sixth dimension, or the contraturn of mat-
ter, and occupies the seventh thru twelfth dimensions. It is a
mirror image of our own, and can be altered, but exacts conse-
quences in doing so, by creating positive or negative stress
energy (via superscalar time wave imposed on genetic predispos-
itioning) within the past or future channel mirror universe,
either by: 1) Mirroring to our own universe (through a stres-
sed supersymmetry matrix), or 2) Our own past or future mir-
roring to our sister universe, but out of harmony, and in all
likelihood, unresonant and unsympathetic.

If universal consciousness is approaching a technological
singularity, then I would seriously question "for who's
singularity?", and posit that there exist *many more* singu-
larities than this "oppressive" one, with any earthly "evidence"
of spectral emissives at the event horizon being "stripped off"
their shells from the atoms of translating current, forever re-
turning to the Dirac sea that created them. The human part of
this "universal awareness" is but a fleeting whim in the
Creator's mind, leading all the false prophets, dreamers,
parapsychologists, and soothsayers to imagine "What has become
of our leader?", when, in fact, in their ironclad borg-like
imaginations, they have forgotten their own feet of clay,
amidst their "wealth" of iron.

Not that he deserved to be shot, but that was one of the most moronic

Some time ago I re-aquired it, and listened to the text in a non sixties
Vietnam war mood..... it gets tricky (I like the peace *feeling*) when he
starts on the commie bit 'share all things' or something, that never worked.

That's the whole point. It was about "feelings," not rationality or
reality. Many millions have died on the alter of feelings.
