"Racetrack Playa" on Mars
Hello,
Not exactly the Racetrack Playa in Death Valley, but just look at this stone: http://tinyurl.com/8vjle http://tinyurl.com/7dhk4 http://tinyurl.com/9zlkp Do you notice the grove that the stone sits in? Isn't this nice? My guess is: (a) wind shadow; or (b) some old crack that the stone happened to slide to at some point. I decided to post this, because by some reason I find the three images quite beautiful; maybe there is somebody else who would enjoy them. Regards, - Alex P.S.
