I was reading in the bathroom when I ran across an item written by
"Giovanni Abrate" on Tue, 13 Jan 2004 18:15:51
-0500, which said:

The book also has an interesting picture of President Roosevelt's son
visiting Torre Bert as well as pictures of various US Consuls and Vice
Consuls in the Cordiglia home and at Torre Bert.

Is there anyone the book doesn't claim as a visitor? Strikes me as
just a little odd that all these people were lining up to visit a
place which has ever since been remarkable for its obscurity.

Of course, it's possible that all these people initially thought there
might be something to see, went to see it, and have since been silent
because they found there was nothing, after all.

I seem to recall the Brothers appearing in one of my baby pictures...

....Hell, I half expect there to be a passage about Mrs Beady trying to
barter for the Shroud so she can give it to you as a bathrobe and
*almost* succeeding.

Unless, of course, there's something you haven't told us yet...:-)

John,
I think their silence is probably due to the fact that they are DEAD!
Take care,
Giovanni
