Living in a hole on the Moon

It shields the crew from radiation and the extremes in temperatures on the Moon. I wonder what the underground temperature is on the Moon? I suspect it is lower than on planet Earth. If it is too low, it likely would be simpler to bury a habitat on the surface under rocks, grit, and dust at least the start. Think how hard it would be to seal a lava caves cracks under low temperatures. Until I see close up pictures and have temp reading from the lava cave that is my position..........................Trig |
