Default Life and the Inverse square! C and C please

I'm certain this is OT for sci.space.policy, not sure for sci.physics.
As has been previously posted here there are probably better newsgroups
than sci.space.policy for this discussion.

Suggest:

sci.philosophy.meta
sci.philosophy.tech
sci.math

Note follow-ups.

It should be obvious to most the defining role that
inverse square relationships play in the physical
universe.

The "inverse-square law" is simply a reduction of the law of
conservation of flux, as measured by surface integrals, when applied
to a flat 3-space. If the space is curved, or contains other than 3
dimensions, the inverse square law does not hold.

The inverse square law is a relationship between cause and effect.

However, not all cases of the inverse square law correspond to any
physical flux. See Feynman's comment on the electric field in
section 4-5 of vol 2 of his Lectures on Physics.
