Default Question About Discovery & RMS

Browsing through a recent edition of Spaceflight, I noted
a picture of the Discovery in the OPF. Said pic is on page
174 edition.

It seems to show two RMS' fitted to Discovery, with the
port side unit being removed due to an accident in which
a work platform bumped into it.

Does this pic suggest that the stbd side RMS position is
being used ? Does this pic suggest that Discovery was going
to fly with two RMS' ?

Or, what ?

Is the picture something like the ninth or tenth picture on this page?

The old, never-used starboard-side arm fittings were revived to hold the
arm extension used for underside inspections. It's not a full arm, just
a pole with a camera on the end.

Gotcha, and thanks to all who replied. The picture in the issue was
a close enough one, such that only part of the stbd arm fitting was
visible, and not anywhere near to the whole arm/pole.

Hey, at least they finally got use of that second fitting. :-)

The interesting question is whether they're going to retrofit Endeavour
with them. She was built late enough -- after the idea of flying with two
arms had been pretty thoroughly dropped -- that she doesn't have the
starboard fittings.
