Yeah, those of us with more than one brain cells, know that the
icecaps on Mars melt, recede, and then grow again at regular
intervals. It's called seasons. You know? not exactly the same as
those on Earth seasons, nonetheless.

Mars itself is unlikely to melt. Ice often does, given the right
conditions.

That's the ICE CAP, you DOLT, not the planet itself. Mars is composed of
rock-like materials, similarly to Earth.
