Default The Second Century B. C.

I came across, while looking for books about Astronomy on the Internet Archive, a
book with this intriguing title...

https://archive.org/details/KingsDet...ardHickson1922

Kings Dethroned

A history of the evolution of astronomy from the time of the Roman Empire up to the present day; showing it to be an amazing series of blunders founded upon an error made in the second century B.C..

From 1922, by Gerrard Hickson.

Apparently, though, it has little in common with the concerns of a frequent poster in this newsgroup; instead it may be - but then I'm not sure yet - a defense of the theory of the Earth being flat.
