What do you mean "we," kemosabe?

;-)

Hi Martin. This group should be renamed sci.nuts. The only reason I see
against a moderated newsgroup is the sheer volume that a moderator (or
three) would have to wade through. Otherwise.... And no, I thoroughly
dislike web-based sites because they are SO cumbersome to negotiate.

For self expression. That others may ponder and answer our resultant and
related postulations. Others whom we hold in regard of their knowledge and
understanding in subjects we have not comprehended, or explored as deeply,
unfettered by the moderations of topical purists.

Being exposed as a bunch of phonies - people who imagine a
magnification exercise gives you the right to call yourselves
astronomers yet have no respect for yourselves or the genuine
astronomical heritage which you all so badly mangle, not even the basic
planetary facts survive.

Tell me how long it takes the Earth to turn once and I will tell you
whether you are an astronomer or not ?.

Hah! You are so far off it's beyond laughable.

I have 3Mbs cable modem internet service to my wireless network, a PC, a
Roku for Netflix and Pandora on A/V Input 1, a digital converter for aerial
input, and a Tracfone with less than 600 minutes use in the past three
years.

And I ride a motorcycle for 10,000 of the 12,000 miles I rack up in a year.
Stop in an intersection?
Don't think so.

The group's fine, but the weather sux. I've been clouded or hazed for
more than a month, so it's hard to write anything interesting, and
from what I read most of NA has had hard weather lately, closests
thing to a double star is car headlights.
Good Seeing ya,
Ken
