NASA keeps on concealing micrographs of Mars Lander Phoenix
Fig. 1 below shows micrographs taken by Phoenix without comparative micrographs ( Note 1). NASA thinks only it can, or has the right to, interpret the micrographs before anyone else does. In fact, NASA has not interpreted micrographs taken by Phoenix. (NASA interpreted first few micrographs incorrectly, then stopped interpretation.) Fig. 1: http://phoenix.lpl.arizona.edu/images.php?gID=0&cID=173 Note 1: There is an optical microscope on board Phoenix. The microscope has 60 substrates , which, believe it or not, contain Earthly fossils. When Martian soil is sprinkled onto these substrates, Martian fossils will mix with Earthly fossils. So, NASA took micrographs of every substrate before and after Mars soil was sprinkled onto the substrates. NASA has not released most of the micrographs of the original substrates (images showing substrates “before” sprinkling). |
