...Hey, if you *hadn't" showed up with some sort of controversy, we'd
have pegged you for a phony :-) :-) :-) Either way, we'd better fill
you in on some important rules around here. I'll start off with the
first and most important one, and let the other regulars fill in the
rest.

ssh Rule #1: We are all Jim Oberg.

ssh Rule #2: We all want to correct Henry Spencer

....This honestly should read:

ssh Rule #2: We will all eventually be corrected *by* Henry Spencer

ssh Rule #3 All threads will sooner or later turn to disscussion of
Beady's Cow.

ssh Rule #3a: Only when Beady's around to relate stories of the Great
Cow Pasture Odysseys, alas...

Anyone ever figure out what happened there, BTW?

....Nah, that was a different FAQ I did back in '97, which Geo****ties
botched during a credit card snafu that happened at the same time I
had a HD crash that wiped the master files. I was so ****ed at
Geo****ties that I never did go back and rework that FAQ.

This one's different. We're going for laughs this time. The only
problem is the two apparent rules regarding Henry, and I predict he'll
correct us on both shortly...

Make sure that Sperry Ball Turret evacuation procedures and the origin
of railway track gauges shows up in there somewhere.
Also that maps of all planets should bear a striking resemblance to a
map of Mars.
