Joe At 2.4 AU from the sun I doubt it can form much tail. This seems to be a dust burst with the color it is showing rather than gas that usually is blue or green. Light pressure will take a bit of time to act on it. It will be interesting to see what happens. While it is approaching us somewhat it is receding from the sun and is already in the asteroid belt. Maybe one belted it? Rick -- Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct. Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh". |
