Default How to predict the brightness of Iridium flare?

Hi all,
How to predict the brightness of Iridium flare? I mean the algorithm,
not the software or the website. I've googled it, but nothing I found.
Anyone could provide some information? Thanks a lot.

Best regards,

Ian Shea

It was pointed out to me that the algorithm to which I
posted a link doesn't predict the magnitudes of flares.
Upon searching on vague memories, I found the following
conceptual discussions of predicting magnitude of
Iridium flares written by Rob Matson, programmer of
Iridflar:

Hi,

There were a GPL Project in sourceforge :
http://sourceforge.net/projects/iridiumflares/
Sources are in Java
