Default Green laser pointer field test?

Has anyone actually tried a field test at night by having a friend=20
shine a green laser pointer at you from a mile or two away? You=20
could communicate with cell phones. Maybe start with short blinks=20
of the laser. Or maybe mount the laser so it shines off to the side=20
of the target person and then slowly walk into the beam to see just=20
how bright it is. I'd really like to try this myself to see just how=20
bright a GLP is from a mile away.

Let's not confuse the "Torches & Pitchforks" mob with facts....

Don't forget the notify the FAA, FBI, BATF, IDA, AAA, PETA and AARP
before you start testing.

LOL

You might contact a local news station so that they can run
a story on concerned users of a GLP and the results of your test.

Better yet, tell the science-illiterate media outlets first, so
they'll stop with the sensationalistic stories.
