Default Multi-color sparkling star phenomenon?

Observed an interesting phenomenon in the sky last night... there were
at least three stars that sparkled very visibly with the naked eye, in
alteration between the colors of red, yellow and green.. Very wild
sight. Any name for this phenomenon? Anyone else see it?
