Default NLC from up north

Saturday early morning I saw a very nice noctilucent cloud show. Some
amazing structures were seen and I hope you can check out my photos

Maurice,

This would make the Sun around 3.5 degrees below the horizon

According to the NLCnet homepage
(http://www.nlcnet.co.uk/nlcfaq.htm#when) the Sun should be greater than
6 degrees below the horizon. When I saw NLC the Sun was only around 4
degrees below and it definetly was NLC - very bright and all the
features described. I think they are wrong there. And your picture does
look like NLC especially with the colour gradients and whispyness

good job - keep an eye out for more

James

Did you allow for my +51o N latitude?

Very nice... Just seen the photo on the local BBC channel!

Just nodding off on the sofa and heard the weather man talking about
Noctilucent Clouds and opened my eyes and saw your shot!

Good work chap! ;o)

Cheers,
Jim
