Wrong again. Saturn and Neptune both radiate into space more
energy than they receive from the Sun.

References please for this...

Please type...

Hold it there, Scotty is suposed to be a teacher, therefor HE should
supply the links and or references.

Ah, i see...

With respect I don't think you do.....

You are more interested in making a point and degrading someone rather
than in learning.

Far from it, any degrading was attempted by Scott on others and it
failed miserably.

He claims to be a teacher, well fine, there are people on usenet who
claim all sorts but hey I don't have to beleive them.

Maybe Scott can post some references where we can check his
qualifications and credentials.

At the moment, if I have to go and spend my time searching google to
see if what he has posted is factualy correct then whats the point in
reading his posts. HE should be posting properly and supply those
references for us, the onus is not on us to check that he is rigth, the
onus is on him to SHOW us he is right. Then after time Scott will or
should build up an understanding from others that he really does
know what he is talking about.

Well, you seem to be in the right place for that! happy days and...
starry starry nights!

Hi Kevin and oc I really think Scott is a teacher. It is sad but
true.

Well you are more accepting than me then Bert, I have seen it
befor in usenet, people claim this and claim to be that, then
usualy they expose themselves and trip up.

If he is not a teacher he makes off he is a teacher to feed his ego.

Far more likely I think....

Seems he wants us to believe he teaches physics,or astronomy. We find
him lacking in experiences, and behavior that best fits teaching. When he
throws back to me" show me the text, cosmological.and experiments to back
up your theory" he thinks that makes his point so great that we are
stupid in his eyes, and those of others that read our posts.(we lack
knowledge) When I come back with "How come string theory can be a
theory and not make any predictions that can be tested" Scott came back
with he knows "nothing about string theory" That is not what a science
teacher should say. Next post he went to a string theory lecture(to get
the egg of his face) Ha Ha Ha Well I knew when I said Jupiter was the
only planet that gave off more radiation that it receives from the sun
was going pretty far out thinking. I did it for a reason. Bert

Yep, that is a classic example of how some people operate Bert. In
another thread the other week, I mentioned to Scott about the problems
that current models/theories have and he simply didnt seem to have a clue
as to what I was on about, very suspicous indeed. He then, in typical
fashion, proceeded to extract himself from the discussion, in short he
made his excuses and ran off!!.

I think Scott is under the impression that all is hunky dorey with
current models/theories and anyone who suggests otherwise is
a crank, well I think I know who the crank is and it aint us.
