Default STV wiring

I purchased a SBIG Stv cam and haven't used it yet for fear I have the wrong
electrical wiring. I have a Meade LX200gps and have powered it from a
jumper battery fine and dandy. This wire bifurcates and the second male
part "fits" into the STV. But the STV manual says the central point of the
plug should be negative while the outer ring should be positive.

I am eager to give it a go; does anyone know if I have the right polarity,
or how I could tell with certainty?
