Default Questions re Mars Rover Pictures

I have seen the mer website, and looked at numerous pictures there,
but to get to each successive picture, esp if you want to see the high
res versions it takes several onerous clicks.
Is there a repository where one can see all of the high res pics in
one place, or could set a batch wget session to save them all??

Thanks

At first they had straight links, so you could right click into instant
full size pictures, but that was before the discovery of fossilized sponge
gemmules, and so they felt obliged to put in the drop down boxes and the
extra level of indirection to slow you down as much as possible. NASA,
aren't they great? Marsgate is really going to bring them down.

Try this : http://qt.exploratorium.edu/mars/

I think the indirection is meant to stop wget from being overly
effective. The change involved some jscript to compose the URL on the
fly thus fooling wget. You have to specify the url for each sol to get
it to work.

What we really need is access to the cool tools that make the panoramas
and mosaics. There is considerable customized geometric distortion
required of each constituent image to make it fit in the mosaic. The
polar perspectives are also nicely done.
