"What I say is based on Koranic science. He bases his arguments on the
kind of science that I reject categorically -- the modern science that
they teach in schools. This science is a heretic innovation that has
no confirmation in the Koran. No verse in the Koran indicates that the
Earth is round or that it rotates. Anything that has no indication in
the Koran is false."

Islam is a peaceful religion, just as long as the women are beaten, the
boys buggered and the infidels are killed.

I suppose the whole damned world is going nuts. They've got their
"Koranic science," while we've "Creation science." The world is going
to hell, thanks to superstitious minds. How the hell did we come to
this? When I was a kid, I thought by the 21st Century we'd be well on
our way to a better place.

Fortunately, more contemporary folks such as L. Ron Hubbard have
reveiled the true nature of our being. Now I wish I could revert seveal
spcies ago and enjoy foraging more simplistcally for sustenance. I'm just
too paranoid of falling off our sphere, perhaps I'll just revert to
worshiping fire, thunder, or lightning. I could still be able to find a
delusional mentor to guide me spiritually, no point in using my own mind.
I really hate to defend my position on the food chain to my pets just
because I can set the time on the vcr, dvd and microwave.

Oh look...Ubi has changed his tagline....who knew he'd finally have to
face the truth...Iraq is a quagmire.

We must change the way we live,
or the climate will do it for us.

At what point in your finite life have you come to the wish/hope/
belief that the spiritual had or would cease to exist? That
superstition, luck, probabilities, prayer, belief, beliefs, theories,
speculation, equations, and such weren't one and the same? In every
case people are hoping based on something they believe will turn out
accordingly. Why do we hope and to what(when we bother to think about
it) do we accredit it to? What is hope? It seems to me science will
not take us to the place we so long to go, whatever it is, until it
gains the courage to tackle these questions and countless related
others. To dismiss an idea before it is examined is tantamount to
blinding oneself to possibilities which in turn limits expansion of
consciousness. Maybe science should take a look at these kind of
phenomena. bj
