Default Invitation to UK Astro Imaging Forum

Hi all,

We've had a recent influx of new members at the UK Astro Imaging Forum, but we are always open for
new blood.

Originally formed in 2003 as a Yahoo group, now we have our own Domain and Forum. Predominantly UK
based, our members are now world wide with France, USA and Canada in the group. Current numbers :
318 members having submitted over 25,000 articles.

Some very good imagers, using everything from Toucams, modded and unmodded, digital cameras, right
up to the top end supercooled CCDs etc. You dont even have to be an imager (yet), but an interest is
encouraged.

We also have astro and non astro photo gallries.

Please come and take a look at what we do here :

Sorry Dave, your link won't open over on my PC... Are you perhaps doing
work on the site ??
Or has your ISP been messing around with the server ??

Hi Rich,

Is Freeserve (Wanadoo) your ISP ? I'm with them.

I've not been able to get on to UK Astro Imaging web site for 3 -4 month s
since Freeserve changed some of their security policies. Some legal thing
that will have to be introduced by all isp's at the end of the year.
Perhaps David H can up date us on what the latest is on this. It's a great
forum which I'm hoping to get back on to some time soon.

Cheers

I'm on Freeserve and just got on with no problem. Netscape 4.7 didn't
show anything (I'm old fashioned :-) but it looks nice in Mozilla.

Hello

Thanks for the intro Dave I registered myself yesterday.
This morning though I got up and the page would not load. I could not ping
or tracert the site either. I wonder if there is a problem with the DNS.
Im am using NTL as ISP.

Hi Stranger, wondered where you'd got to.

I'll let the admins know we still have a prob with some ISPs see if they can sort it out.

You "playing" in the new series yet ? PM me to discuss if relevant.

DH

Hello,
just to let you know I cannot access your site either. From work (no
ISP), don't know a lot about networks, but it's via the University of
Edinburgh (Janet?)
