RARE PHOTOGRAPH OF DOUBLE MOON
THE MOON: As it had appeared in the Tinkertoy telescope of Ed Conrad on Sunday, July 20, 1969 . . . http://www.factsoffishing.com/wp-con...ads/mooned.jpg "ONE SMALL STEP FOR MAN . . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mouUUWpEec0 "ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gem10...eature=related ======================= OTHER MORE RECENT INCIDENTS OF MOONING In November 1987, an intruder interrupted the broadcast signal of Chicago PBS affiliate WTTW with a strange video of himself dressed to resemble Max Headroom. At one point in the video, the man exposes his buttocks to the camera before being spanked with a flyswatter by an accomplice. In June 2000, a mass mooning was organized outside of Buckingham Palace in the United Kingdom by the Movement Against the Monarchy (M'AM). The idea was for the anti--monarchists to show their dislike of the British monarchy by performing a mass mooning at their home. However, a large police presence prevented a large scale mooning, but even so, a few individuals mooned. Some were arrested but others managed to pose for various newspapers, etc. This event is known as the Moon Against the Monarchy event. The Annual Mooning of Amtrak is a long-running annual tradition in Laguna Niguel, (Orange County) Calif. where many people spend all day mooning at Amtrak trains; some even ride the trains on that day just so they can witness the event. This mooning has spawned a chain of "train moonings" throughout the entire country http://img.allvoices.com/thumbs/even...oon-amtrak.jpg On July 13, 2008, local authorities cracked down on the practice after a reported 8,000 people participated in the festivities. However, the festival still continues annually but with more police supervision. In the 2003 World Athletics Final in Monaco, Tim Lobinger mooned the crowd on the podium after winning the pole vault. He was fined $5,000 (US). At the 2005 UK Music Hall of Fame awards ceremony, musician Ozzy Osbourne mooned the crowd after a set he had played with his group Black Sabbath. On Jan. 9, 2005, Randy Moss of the Minnesota Vikings pretended to moon Green Bay Packers fans afyrtr scoring a touchdown. He was fined $10,000 by the NFL. On Oct. 24, 2011, economic inequality protester Liam Wariner of Sydney ran alongside the motorcade of Queen Elizabeth II and a waving Prince Phillip with an Australian flag clenched between his exposed buttocks before being grabbed by police. "MOONING" APPARENTLY NOT A CRIME In 2006, a Maryland state circuit court determined that mooning is a form of artistic expression protected by the United States constitutional right of freedom of speech. The court ruled that indecent exposure only relates to exposure of the genitals, adding that even though mooning was a "disgusting" and "demeaning" act -- and, in addition, had taken place in the presence of minors, "If exposure of half of the buttocks constituted indecent exposure, any woman wearing a thong at the beach at Ocean City would be guilty." http://imagecache5.art.com/LRG/26/2678/J1AUD00Z.jpg Defense attorneys had cited a 1983 case of a woman who was arrested after protesting in front of the U.S. Supreme Court building wearing nothing but a cardboard sign that covered the front of her body. In that case, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals had ruled that indecent exposure is limited to a person's genitalia. No review of the case by a higher court took place since prosecutors dropped the case after the ruling. In California, an appellate court found in 2000 that mooning does not constitute indecent exposure (and, therefore, does not subject the defendant to sex offender registration laws) unless it can be proven beyond reasonable doubt that the conduct was sexually motivated. ======================== OTHER MAJOR CONSPIRACIES MAN AS OLD AS COAL https://groups.google.com/forum/?fro...Y/ZluVLvAFI1IJ http://www.edconrad.com PROOF OF LIFE AFTER DEATH http://www.edconrad.org ========================= PROFESSIONAL SCIENTIFIC SOCIETIES American Association for the Advancement of Science American Associaton of Petrified Brain Ologists Acoustical Society of America American Anthropological Association American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy American Association of Cereal Chemists American Association of Engineering Societies American Association of Physics Teachers American Association of University Professors American Association of University Women American Astronautical Society American Astronomical Society American Chemical Society American College of Dentists American Dental Association American Economic Association American Educational Research Association American Ethnological Society American Fisheries Society American Geological Institute American Geophysical Union American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics American Institute of Biological Sciences American Institute of Chemical Engineers American Institute of Chemists American Mathematical Society American Medical Association American Meteorological Society American Nuclear Society American Oil Chemists' Society American Physical Society American Physiological Society American Phytopathological Society American Psychiatric Association American Psychological Association American Society for Cell Biology American Society for Engineering Education American Society for Horticultural Science American Society for Information Science ASM International American Society for Microbiology American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics American Society for Quality Control American Society of Aesthetics American Society of Agricultural Engineers American Society of Agronomy American Society of Animal Science American Society of Civil Engineers American Society of Mechanical Engineers American Society of Plant Physiologists American Society of Zoologists American Speech-Language-Hearing AssociationAmerican Statistical Association American Vacuum Society Association of American Geographers Association of Research Libraries Association of Southeastern Biologists Association for Women in Science Astronomical Society of the Pacific Biophysical Society Crop Science Society of America Ecological Society of America Entomological Society of America FASEB (Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology) Geological Society of America History of Science Society Industrial Research Institute Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.(IEEE) I nstitute of Industrial EngineersI nstitute of NavigationInstrument Society of America International Association for Impact Assessment International Communication Association International Society for Measurement and Control International Society for Systems Sciences Marine Technology Society Mathematical Association of America Medical Library Association, Inc.Microscopy Society of America National Association for Research in Science Teaching National Association of Biology Teachers National Council of Teachers of Mathematics National Geographic Society National Science Teachers Association National Society of Black Engineers National Society of Professional Engineers National Speleological Society Optical Society of America Planetary Society Rural Sociological SocietySchool Science and Mathematics Association Sigma Delta Epsilon/Graduate Women in Science, Inc.
