Did you know you can buy land on the moon?
Herb Schaltegger wrote: Scott Hedrick wrote: (Snipped stuff) *Sigh* I'm sorry; I just don't extrapolate gay marriage into marrying one's pets. Kiki! Don't listen! Of course that engagement ring is for real! We'll make them change the laws! A man has a right to marry a Gerbil! If not today....then tomorrow! Never again shall anyone have to disguise the love that dares not squeak its name! Pat |

Henry Spencer wrote: I _KNEW_ you were the sort of man who would read the Marquis De Sade's "120 days of Sodom"! Nope, I've never gotten around to reading any of his work, and probably won't either... I read about one page of the above work; that was quite enough of the old Marquis for a lifetime, let me tell you.....now, "My Secret Life" on the other hand.... Tell me....in detail....what that wallet _smells_ like! :-) It's been replaced since the last incident of that. :-) You know, you could have sold it for big money on Pervbay! I know you specialize in reaction motor design; see if you can make heads or tails of how the airflow is supposed to work on this oddity; I'm getting lost somewhere around the exhaust diffusers to the central core, and trying to figure out how air is getting to the flame holders in the wing disc: http://www.ufx.org/avro/pv704/pv704.htm Crikey! After a thorough review of the available documentation, and a Lunch Hour's worth of Extensive Investigation, I can provide the fiollowing insight. The stuff refernced on the page describes two configurations - One, with the Viper Gas Generators mounted such that they're sucking air in fom the rim, and exhausting directly through the turbine sandwiched between the radial fan stages. (This appears to be the initial configuration, and is referenced in the WS-606 documents. The other configuration has the Vipers sucking air from the diffuser (outer rim) on the fan stages, and routing the hot gas 180 degrees back to the fan turnine using "fishtail ducts". In both cases, the "afterburner/ramjet type" combustors appear to be fed by similar periperal ducts in the diffuser sections of the fan stages. That's pretty standard supercharger/water pump practice. For an example of what form it would take, check out the GE logo sometime. After looking over the projected performance numbers, It appears that Avro did succeed in one of their Prime Goals for this project - the production of prodigious amounts of hot gas. -- Pete Stickney Now - what we could do is duct the ramjet exhaut backl to the fan turbines, and then out to the rim... It'd be a Flying Sousaphone! |

Did you know you can buy land on the moon?
Kevin Willoughby wrote: In article , says... the love that dares not squeak its name! Keyboard! I am still trying to figure out if there ever really any truth about the gay "Gerbiling" craze: it sounds suspiciously like something that gays would try to foist on gullible straights who would think them capable of _anything_; including shoving a live rodent up their rear ends on occasion. Still, one never really knows just what might get put where in this modern world...for instance, I once heard that some guy named Bill took a cigar and.... ....and it did make for a great "Cherry Poptart" comic book cover: Man's hand extended towards Cherry with a Gerbil grasped in it.... Cherry: "Are you NUTS? I could never do a thing like that to a cute little GERBIL!" Gerbil: "Aw, c'mon!...please?" Pat |

Don't blame me for their poor choice if they wanted to get married. If the mission was to get married, then they did the wrong thing by choosing the partners they chose. The law was freely available even before the Internet. *You* of all people should know that. -- I only know one person who told me "I want to get married in the next few years" who didn't say it in context with who he wanted to get married to. Are you under the misapprehension that gay people _choose_ to be gay? If so, you're flat-ass wrong. They don't choose to be homosexual any more than you chose to be heterosexual.
