Default falling star last night

Did anyone see the brightest falling star they've ever seen last night
the 30th around 11 pm?
I did. It lit the ground up like a freworks display would with an orange
color

I did...it was the brightest I've ever seen...probably the brightest I am
likely to EVER see! There was a group of us out at an NYAA
http://www.nyaa-starfest.com/ dark sky weekend, and it was a real treat. The
gasps and amazed expressions on even veteran observers was evidence this was
an exciting event. From my perspective it started near probably Aquila ( I
wasn't looking up at the time) and travelled due North, exploding into
fragments, between Bootes and Hercules...
