Default NASA duplicates Japanese Hayabusa astroid mission

http://www.spacedaily.com/reports/NA...ear_Earth_Aste
roid_999.html

NASA is sending a probe to an astroid which will, just as Hayabusa did,
gather samples and return them to Earth.

Let's hope they're more successful than the Japanese were... The
Japanese did claim to have gathered a few specks of asteroid dust,
which should be sufficient to answer the question if life's building
blocks could have originated from them. I guess NASA doesn't trust the
Japanese scientific results and wants to find out for itself.
