Nonlinear differential equations ?
Why don't you try sci.math. I am sure they would have all sorts of
examples. Lurch "Phil B Brubaker" wrote in message ... Hi, Are there any real-world nonlinear differential equations (DEs) that still are not solved? I'm writing a textbook on converting DE models used in simulating a design or process. If one tweaks parameters until a 'best' solution is found, these type problems make great examples for optimization. Any leads to DE problems in industry that would be good examples? Thanks, Phil |

Or, also, you could try sci.nonlinear.
